Community Groups

The Buddha emphasized how important it is to have spiritual community and friendships as we develop our practices. Recognizing this, Northfield Buddhist Meditation Center is pleased to provide community groups to support the practice interests and needs of its current and new members. Our current groups are listed below.

Book Group

Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation Group

  • Wednesdays, April 15 - May 16, 7 - 8 PM

  • Subsequent class-series pending, but usually are offered on four successive Wednesday evenings. Please check back here for updates.

The group listed below is not a Northfield Buddhist Meditation Center group but rather the local community of Recovery Dharma Global, whom we are pleased to have meeting weekly within NBMC:

Recovery Dharma Northfield 

  • Uses the Buddha’s Four Noble Truths as a path to freedom from addictions of all types, whether substance or process, from any repetitive and habitual behavior that causes suffering.

  • In-person at NBMC, now on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
